Multi-element Cable for Lutron QED Shading Systems
DES PLAINES, IL, July 7, 2005—Sheer Wire, a leading provider of wire and cable in the home theater market, introduces its new Lutron Sivoia Cable. Designed to deliver a specialized cable interconnect solution for the wiring of Lutron's automated shading system, Sheer Wire's Sivoia cable contains the exact amount of power and control elements necessary for the operation of Sivoia QED systems.
Due to the specific amount of power and control elements present in the new cable, the need to use multiple cables in QED systems has been eliminated. With the Sheer Wire Sivoia cable, all of the power and control elements can be delivered within a single cable, thus significantly reducing and simplifying install time. In addition, the Sivoia cable also features several other time saving features such as footage markers, a color-coded and striped jacket, and easy-to-strip compounds.
